This sixteen (16) hour certification course provides an introduction to DevOps – the cultural and professional movement that stresses communication, collaboration and integration between software developers and IT operations professionals. This course is designed to provide the basic education needed to build a DevOps vocabulary and to understand its principles and practices.

This course can be taught in a physical or virtual classroom or in a blended (physical and virtual) learning environment. We can deliver the course in your classroom or we can find one for you (for a fee). We also offer public schedule courses - find the next ones here. There is also an online version of the course - you can study at your own pace over 30 or 60 days.
This course can be covered in two days (eight hours per day) or divided into logical increments such as four days (four hours per day). If you take the online option, you have 30 or 60 days to cover the 16 hours of material.
This course is designed for a minimum of five students per class and a maximum of twenty.
Exam and Certification
The exam can be sat either at the end of the course in the classroom, or after course completion at a time that suits the student in a proctored online environment. On passing the exam, which is multiple choice, takes one hour and has a 65% passing score. Peoplecert will issue the DevOps Institute DevOps Foundation Certificate.
The cost of the course and certification is £1,200 per participant for the sixteen hours of training and the exam for public schedule and onsite courses. For online courses, the costs are £490 for 30 days and £540 for 60 days.
