AppDynamics have just announced their 2014 Summer Release of their market leading Application Performance Management software.
What is AppDynamics?
AppDynamics is application performance management software designed to help dev and ops troubleshoot problems in complex production apps. How? You can monitor your application health, and be alerted when there's an issue. Troubleshooting's easy when you can see your entire application and drill down as needed to see the code execution in the application server and database. Even more so when you can automate fixes.
What's New in the 2014 Summer Release?
Enhancements to the three platform layers:
AppDynamics now provide expanded support for a wide range of applications and frameworks including:
- Industry’s first Node.js distributed transaction monitoring
- C++ APM (Beta)

The extensive new capabilities allow organisations to proactively monitor, manage and analyse the most complex software environments. All of this happens in real time and in production, giving increased visibility, understanding, control across applications, infrastructure and user experience.
